Phil Marshall is the owner and operator of a small haulage company based in Aberdeenshire. After many years of working with external Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers (DGSA), Phil made the decision to undertake the DGSA training and examinations himself, driven by a desire to gain a deeper understanding of compliance and best practice within the industry. Having successfully qualified, he recognised an opportunity to use his knowledge and experience to support local businesses with their dangerous goods obligations.

Phil has been a CPC-qualified Transport Manager since 2021 and has over seven years of hands-on experience running a haulage operation specialising in the transportation of dangerous goods. Throughout this time, he has dealt with the real-world challenges that transport operators face on a daily basis — from regulatory changes to operational pressures and compliance pitfalls.

Having learned valuable lessons along the way, Phil is passionate about helping others navigate these requirements with confidence. His approach is practical, approachable, and grounded in genuine industry experience, with a clear focus on keeping businesses compliant, safe, and operating efficiently.
